The Grammy Awards returning to New York after a 15-year hiatus. In the past, The Grammy Awards would alternate from New York and Los Angles year after year, but this was put to a stop after the New York ceremony in '03. After months of negotiations, the Mayor of New York City Bill de Blasio and Madison Square Garden executives, CBS, and the Recording Academy announced on Tuesday that the Grammy Awards ceremony would be held at Madison Square Garden on Jan. 28.
The Grammy's will be returning to the LA Staples Center 2019 and will continue to be held there until further notice.
