Donald Glover’s Award-Winning Half-Hour Returns for its Robbin' Season
Atlanta was one of the funniest shows on television last year. It instantly caught the attention of viewers with its masterful mixing surrealism and realism. Fans have been waiting months for the show to return with its new season. This season has been dubbed "Robbin' season." Robbin Season describes the period leading up to Christmas when there's a big spike in domestic robberies. Stephen Glover, one of the show's executive producer and writer, said "You might get your package stolen off your front porch. While we were there, my neighbor got her car stolen from her driveway. It’s a very tense and desperate time. Our characters are in a desperate transition from their old lives to where they’re headed now. And the robbin’ season is a metaphor for where we are now.
Early reviews of the first few episodes have critics saying Glover and company have done it again. I know I'll be watching I hope you will too.
