All Games with Confirmed Free Upgrades | PS4 to PS5

A new console era is only a month away. Many of us are excited to get our hands on the new PS5. With a new console generation normally we will have to wait before we are able to play more than the few launch titles. Currently, there are eight launch titles for the PS5: Astro's Playroom, Demon's Souls, Destruction All-Stars, Fortnite, Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition, Godfall, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and Sackboy: A Big Adventure.​ These games are great, but to the avid gamer, they'll only keep you occupied for about a few weeks. Thankfully, Sony has decided to offer free upgrades to a number of PS4 games. Seventy-Nine games have been confirmed to receive PS5 upgrades. This means they'll have improved graphics and framerates. Most of the games are a simple upgrade while others come with some condition. Take a look at some of the games that will be receiving updates:

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War 
Must own Cross-Gen Edition or Ultimate Edition on PS4 to get free upgrade to PS5 version. Standard edition owners can pay an extra $10 for the upgrade to the PS5 version

Control 
Free upgrade for anyone who owns the Ultimate Edition on PS4. If you have the original release from 2019, you are not eligible for a free upgrade

Now if that doesn't sound great Sony has also announced the Playstation Now subscription service will feature seven hundred games from the classic Playstation to PS4. The PS5 will be released on November 12 in USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, JapanMexico, and South KoreaThe rest of the world, including the UK and Europe, will be able to purchase a PS5 from November 19.
