I never imagined I’d be so moved watching Hola Frida—a beautifully animated journey that brings little Frida Kahlo’s story to life for children. As a lifelong Frida fan, I’m thrilled by how this film captures her spirit in a way that’s both accessible and inspiring for a younger audience.

Hola Frida doesn’t just tell a story—it encourages kids to create, to feel, and to see the world through an artistic lens. In today’s digital age, especially with the rise of AI, it’s more important than ever to nurture creative expression in the next generation. This film does exactly that.

It’s the kind of story that makes you want to immediately send it to an art teacher—or watch it together as a family. I honestly didn’t think Frida’s complex legacy could be shared in a way that children would enjoy and understand, but Hola Frida proves otherwise. It's a visual love letter to art, culture, and resilience.

Don’t let anyone spoil it for you. Hola Frida premieres on August 8th—and trust me, you’ll want to see it for a special movie night. Who knows? You might just inspire the next little Frida.
