Bdellium Tools ( SFX Brushes )

Hey Guys,

I know how much you all love SFX looks, and if you remember from my last post, it's really hard finding brushes for special effects. So I'm very excited to tell you all that I've come across a really cool company called Bdellium Tools that specializes in SFX brushes! Could you believe that I've gotten the opportunity to try some of Bdellium Tools SFX brushes! They have an awesome kit also and I totally recommend it, but I chose only 4 brushes to create this look, and shockingly that's all I needed! The Veining brush is amazing! It's great for detailing, and creating realistic lines. I used this brush to create depth in the cut, and add detail with different colors using the Skin illustrator Palate. After I was satisfied with the colors, I added some more depth into the cut by using the Muscle brush. It gave my cut a very nice bump look, that the other brush just couldn't do. After that it was time to add the blood so I went back to using the Veining brush and added some gel blood inside the cut along with some stage blood. Then I took my small and large stippling brush, and added some stage blood around the cut area! These two brushes are my favorites, you don't understand how much I've struggled using sponges to get the stippling effect. These brushes were so easy to use and made my "Chelsea smile" a master piece! Don't think you can only use these brushes for this! These babies have thousands of uses to them!
