This award recognizes her impressive contributions to cinema, highlighted by her transformative role as Rita Moro Castro in Netflix’s EMILIA PÉREZ.

With over 20 years in the industry, Saldaña has established herself as a versatile powerhouse, starring in the highest-grossing films of all time, including AVATAR and AVENGERS: ENDGAME. Recently, she not only led but also executive produced the independent film THE ABSENCE OF EDEN and stars in the Paramount+ series Lioness.
Saldaña’s much-anticipated EMILIA PÉREZ, directed by Jacques Audiard, explores the journey of women in Mexico and premiered at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, where she won the Best Actress Award. The film will be released in theaters this fall.
