🍓 Crumble
1/3 cup (42g) all-purpose flour
1/4 cup (50g) sugar
1 tbsp brown sugar
3 tbsp (42g) melted butter (salted or unsalted)
🍓 Dough
1 cup (240g) warm water
1 tbsp active dry yeast
2 tbsp sugar
1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour
♡ Mix and let rest for 10 minutes
1 and 1/2 cups (180g) all-purpose flour
1/3 cup (72g) vegetable oil
2 tsp salt
1/4 cup (50g) sugar
♡ Kneed dough for about 8 minutes
♡ If your dough is too sticky, add 1 tbsp of flour at a time until it comes together
🍓 Egg Wash
1 egg
2 tbsp water
🍓 Strawberry Jam
About 2 tsp for each bun (I used Bonne Maman)
📝 Notes
1. Divide dough into 6 balls then transfer to a baking sheet
2. Cover and let rest for 10 minutes
3. Use a 1/3 measuring cup to make an indent in each bun
4. Place about 2 tbsp of the cream cheese mixture in each bun
5. Place about 2 tsp of strawberry jam on top of the cream cheese mixture
6. Brush egg wash on each bun
7. Sprinkle the crumble on each bun
Bake at 375F (190C) for 25-30 minutes or until golden
