"Hayden was having a rough day with the older kids. What stood out to me is his grit, toughness and I saw he took a liking to my personality. He told me everything about him, even his short comings. Once Amir came around the corner, he immediately tightened up and told me that he (Amir) is the only kid who gives him love at camp and at school. I then told him that Amir was my son. He told Amir that he wanted to be cool and smooth like him.
The next week Hayden took liking to a pair of Jordan’s I had one and told me that one day he wish to have a pair of Jordan’s. He also stated that his “And 1’s” was the old model of Jordan’s…….
. After camp while driving home, Amir said “Dad, we gotta hook Hayden up with some Jordan’s for school.” I said let’s do it!!!
Today, after forgetting several times to bring them, Amir was determined to pull Hayden out of class to deliver them to Hayden. The response & smile, tells it all. They are connecting for a long time now. Hayden is our Guy!!! Thank you to Ms. Lyles’s for making it happen."
