Arts and Crafts: Miley Cyrus & Mermaid Scrapbook

So This week I went craft hunting! I wanted to make something really cute for my coworkers in regards to the new viva glam Miley!! I wasn't sure what I wanted to create, but I knew I wanted something cute, fun and twerkful (LOL).  Don't we just love Miley for expanding the twerkness? I just love her! Anyways, as I was browsing the net, I found some really cool wedding ideas that included candy boxes for their guest; I then thought " Hey! Why not give them candy boxes with a message attached". That idea stuck with me, but I still wasn't sure what to do in order to make it exciting. So as time went by I finally came across this site that has paper dolls of celebrities! They're so neat! Ive never seen anything like it. I instantly searched for the Miley Paper Diva.

Super Kawaii right? I love them! The box, flag, and lip stick pens I got for cheap at Michaels. The paper divas were seriously easy to make, I recommend this for anyone looking for something crafty, or if you just want one of your favorite celebrities. I'll put the link below for you guys.

I also plan on making my own little scrapbook soon, and came across this AMAZING hard cover scrapbook on amazon. The details are so amazing! The mermaid and fishes are 3d, and the bronze makes it even more beautiful. This scrapbook is hand made with all natural materials. I couldn't resist, and bought it instantly. I'll leave a link below for this as well for you guys.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Red Carpet For Hope Event

I normally bring you guys news on the latest products or new SFX looks, but today I wanted to talk about a topic that is very personal to me. Recently I had an opportunity to attend St. Jude's Red Carpet for Hope. It was an elegant and amazing event held in the Trump National Doral located in Miami Fl. This event was taking place in three locations simultaneously; here in Miami, in Chicago, and in Minneapolis.  The place was filled with people who had attended to help raise money and awareness for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

I loved seeing all the joyous faces of the people in attendance, many of whom were cancer survivors themselves. Seeing them with nothing but bliss in their eyes filled me up with so much happiness. I truly experienced the Red Carpet treatment while I attended. Members of the press were treated to cocktails and a delicious dinner. I Even got a chance to see S.t. Jude patient Hailey from Delray Beach, perform  one of her favorite songs, Miley Cyrus’ hit “When I Look At You.”  There were also various auctions taking place, both silent and live, to raise money for Cancer research. Attendees raised more than $76,000 to help fund the lifesaving work of St. Jude, where no family ever receives a bill for treatment, travel, housing or food. Also, there was an exclusion presentation of the 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards, which was the first time being hosted in Miami. The celebrities were so inspiring at this event guys!  Charlie Lapson, Hollywood celebrity designer helped accessorize the celebrities with his very own jewelry, and Renowned hair stylist Gabriel Samra also donated his time to help patient families get “Red Carpet Ready” by doing both their hair and makeup. I love seeing stars give back. Some other Celebrities who walked the red carpet included Felicia Mercado, Gabriel Valenzuela, Leslie Grace, Alberto Sardinas, Isaac Reyes, Adriana Lavat and Dra. Nancy Alvarez. The event was emceed by International actress Sissi Fleitas and Telemundo’s very own Raul Gonzalez, who also walked the red carpet.

In addition to the presenting sponsor, Municipio de Fomento, local sponsors included: International Dermatology, Charlie Lapson Collection, Anthony R. Abraham Foundation, Alejandro Plaza, Dark Horse, Selecta Magazine, MillerCoors, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Botran Aged Rum, and it Espresso Lounge. These types of events always make me feel so delighted knowing there are so many wonderful people in the world wanting to help these children overcome this disease. Cancer is a disease that affects anyone at any given moment, and I for one have always tried to help raise awareness for it. I even receive text alerts from St. Jude's regarding some of their patients. I always wanted to volunteer at the hospital and have fun with the children there, and one day paint the children's faces and show them how cool special FX makeup is.  Bringing a smile to these children faces, and knowing that theres hope. Thats one of my dream goals for this year. All in all, I had a truly amazing time at the red carpet event and would love to attend again in the future. I'll keep you posted for more events hosted by S.t. Jude, and hopefully i'll see all of you.

Reattached Arm "SFX"

So I know I haven't  did any updates on my SFX lately, and so I decided to do something fast. This is called a " Reattached arm". Made with 3rd degree, Illustrator palette, and 3 types of fake blood ( Blood gel, stage blood, and scab blood ). I love 3rd degree, its the closest thing you'll get to prosthetics to me. The realness is unbelievable. I'll be doing a tutorial soon.

Line Play Game App Review

So Recently I came across this new game app called " Line Play". The animations in this game totally grabbed my attention! As im a bit obsessed with the Harajuku culture.. Not only that, I think its a bit hard finding a good game app now ah days. The Kim Kardashian game to be honest I find a bit of a waste. You don't get enough time to enjoy it, and even if you buy enough energy they instantly disappear with just one job request -_- ... That app is just a sneaky way to get all your money if you ask me. Line Play however is very interesting! You get to create your own avatar as yourself or a cool alter ego.  I made mine as a little mini me. She loves color if you couldn't tell (lol). Once that was done it loaded me to this really cool place where I had so many choices to take my mini avatar. I decided to visit my house since I am a bit boring ( L m a o ) .  I think I had too much fun decorating, but can you blame me? You get to decorate your very own room however you want it! Whether it be crowded with thousands of toys or building a bigger room for your thousand of toys. The avatar also gets to interact with the things you put in it. It kind of reminded me of sims, just more Kawaii.  Now with the important part! In order to decorate your room, you need gems! Gems are kind of like money (reminds you of the Kim Kardashian game right? Not even ). There's so many ways to get gems! The first way is to complete your quest! In the game they'll give you quest to do in order to get gems. Once completed you'll get a good load. Another way to get gems is giving friends your invitation code. Every time you get invited by a friend "Line Play" will give you 1000 gems free! Also you can get gems by doing little task at another avatars house. The amount of gems you get for each task is only 10 gems, but you can make up to 1000 gems a day.

ღ Oh, and if others heart you back thats also a way you can get gems

Of course if all fails you can just buy, and when I tell you its way cheaper than any other app that has in store purchases.  In the game you'll also get a diary which to me is exactly like Instagram which is really cool! You can post pictures with captions, and have friends comment and like them.
So by now you're probably thinking "okay thats cool, but what else could you do?''. Well theres this place called "Gacha" which is kind of like gambling at the hard rock.  You go there when you're feeling lucky, and get to win some pretty cool things... or lose ( l m a o ). You can shop, or go to the lounge, which is a chat room with other players around the world (yes you get to chat with friends!). The lounge though to me is more for questioning and help. If you really want to talk to people, then you need to check out the square. Its a portal that takes you to places like New York, Treasure Island, The line stadium and more. You get to play games, and chat with people all over the world. This is more of a live chat room! Which is really cool. You do get to do one on one chats with friends though, but you have to make sure they add you as a friend, and from there you just click the "chat" area. Pretty cool right? Overall I'll rate this app a 8.5!
Don't forget to add me ^_^
